To Joseph Stiglitz,
firstly let me introduce myself, i am benito bastone and i have just finished a bachelor of business with a minor in marketing. after reading your book ‘Making Globalisation Work’ i was extremely interested in the topics covered especially social responsibility, and how you stated it was a moral issue as an economic issue…. given the large trend for Australian organisations such as Optus and Telstra outsourcing their call centres into ’emerging’ economies do you feel that this action could be stated as immoral or unethical?? or just everyday business strategies…where do you think organisation should draw the line? and do you feel that the outsourcing of such a magnitude could have a negative effect upon these organisations i.e telstra
thank you for your time
